Entry Routes
The School has the following entry routes:
- Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE).
- Ghana West African Seniors School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
- Foreign Qualifications that are internationally acceptable for admission into Universities.
- Graduate Entry Medicine (Entry at Level 200 depending on the assessment of your undergraduate transcript or certificate).
Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE)
The candidate must have excellent passes (A- B) in all six (6) science subjects with an overall aggregate of 15 or better. Three of the six subjects must be core subjects (including English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science/Biology), and the rest must be in electives relevant to the candidate’s proposed programme of study such as (Chemistry, Physics, etc). In addition, candidate must satisfy the specific requirements of the relevant Faculty.
West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE)
The candidate must have excellent passes (A- B) in all six (6) science subjects with an overall aggregate of 15 or better. Three of the six subjects must be core subjects (including English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science/Biology), and the rest must be in electives relevant to the candidate’s proposed programme of study such as (Chemistry, Physics, etc). In addition, candidate must satisfy the specific requirements of the relevant Faculty.
General Certificate of Education (GCE)
Holders of the General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level (obtained not more than three years before the time of application) must, in addition to credit passes in five (5) GCE ‘O’ Level subjects (including English, Mathematics and Integrated Science/Biology) and also have credit passes in the relevant science subjects.
International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE)/ International Baccalaureate (IB)
Holders of the IGCSE/IB must possess at least Grades A */ A-C in English, Mathematics and Biology at the Standard (SL)/’O’ Level, in addition to three Higher Level (HL-A to C)/ ‘A’ Level (A to D)/IB 2 (A to C) grades in the relevant subjects.
Graduate Entry Medicine (GEM)
The level of placement for graduate entry medicine (GEM) holders will depend on the assessment of your undergraduate certificates or transcript in relation to the programme. The general guidelines are as follows: GEM holders must have either G.C.E or SSSCE/WASSCE credit passes in English Language, Core Mathematics and relevant science subjects. In addition, a minimum of Second-Class Upper is required for admission to level 200 or 300. The School will assess the curriculum content of the transcript in relation to the programme.

EASY STEPS TO APPLY
- Purchase an e-voucher from any of the vendors listed here . State emphatically whether you wish to apply for undergraduate or postgraduate.
- Login with the form on the right hand side, using the voucher SERIAL and PIN that was provided to you.
- Select your mode of entry and indicate your entry type (i.e Post WASSCE/SSCE, GEM ... etc). Click submit to start applying.
- Fill application form and attach your passport picture. The applicant’s passport picture should be in .jpg, .jpeg, .png or .gif format and must not exceed 100KB in size. Make sure you upload a picture showing your face clearly before you submit.
- Clicking the SAVE AND CONTINUE LATER button will save your application for editing later.
- Clicking the SUBMIT AND PRINT button will submit the form and generate a reference number which will be sent to the phone number you specified. Make sure you provide correct information before submitting the form. Changes after form submission is not allowed.
- Click logout to leave the page. On subsequent logins you will be sent to a tracking page where you can track and print the application form you filled.
